Is it the same as buying the pieces?
Yes. Both pieces are the ones sold on their own pages. Nothing in the box is a set-only version.
Does the oil come with it?
No. Any water-soluble essential oil you already own works in the diffuser.
Is a charging cable included for the lamp?
No. The lamp ships on its own.
Is it safe around cats and dogs?
Dogs, usually. Cats need more care: they cannot break down many oils, lavender, tea tree and citrus included. Keep it where an animal cannot reach it and use it in a room the cat can leave. Sources: ASPCA Animal Poison Control, Pet Poison Helpline.
Around babies or during pregnancy?
Not around infants under six months. During pregnancy, ask your doctor. Source: Johns Hopkins Medicine.
